Forestland Inventory & Valuations

Current forest inventory information is essential when evaluating timberland acquisitions, disposal, or long-term sustained yield management options. Cruiser measuring a tree W. M. Beaty & Associates, Inc. team of dedicated forest inventory specialists manage all aspects of timber inventory from design, implementation, data management, processing and analysis, to modeling, harvest scheduling, timber valuation, and report generation.  Timber inventory products and services may include aerial-photo interpretation, vegetation classification, stratification, sampling design, electronic data collection, inventory verification, growth & yield projections, and GIS maps using GPS and an array of other map information sources.  In addition, other inventory services include both spatial and attribute data collection for road networks, watercourses, watercourse crossings, fires, fuelbreaks, archaeological sites, wildlife habitats, and other natural or man-made landscape features.  The scope and scale of these services are tailored to provide the necessary information that meets our clients goals in a cost effective manner.  Commensurate with Forestland Management Plans, this information may be used to develop environmental, regulatory, monitoring, and other management reports, plans and documents including Timber Harvesting Plans (THPs), Nonindustrial Timber Management Plans (NTMPs), and Sustained Yield Plans (SYPs), all prepared by WBA for our clients.
